Bethany Albrecht

Bethany Albrecht is a Certified EMDR Therapist, Approved Clinical Supervisor, and EMDR Consultant in Colorado providing psychotherapy, consultation, and Neurofeedback (neurotherapy) both in person and virtually through her private practice, Aerie Counseling, in the Denver area.

Bethany earned her Master’s in Counseling from Denver Seminary in 2013 and completed EMDR Basic Training in 2017. Since then, she has pursued advanced EMDR training in eating disorders, polyvagal theory, IFS-informed approaches, and working with children. She has held roles at higher levels of eating disorder care, facilitated recovery groups, and led groups for survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

As a Colorado EMDR Consultant, Bethany integrates EMDR with Internal Family Systems (IFS) and, for clients who desire it, Christian spirituality and faith integration. She specializes in working with adults healing from eating disorders, complex trauma, spiritual and religious trauma, and mood disorders — and has a particular passion for supporting fellow therapists and caregivers.

Bethany also brings warmth and lived creativity to her work — outside the office, she enjoys traveling, home renovation, and spending time with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Luna.
