The Hive Program is an online community for mental health therapists aimed at the perspective of learning more about creating systemic change in the world: through social justice, anti-oppression work and trauma recovery. The Hive Plus Program is only offered for those who have completed Dr. Jarero’s two-day Advanced Training Workshop on Early EMDR Interventions and Ongoing Traumatic Stress. Price Structure
There are two options for payment for the Hive Program:
- Purchase a single online Hive Teaching à la carte for $10 each. à la carte Hive Teaching purchases do not enter the purchaser into the Hive Program, therefore, the purchaser will not receive any of the other benefits of the Hive Program.
- Purchase a recurring annual discounted price for $75 per year. There is no contract to renew year after year, as people can cancel anytime without penalty.
The Hive Plus Program costs $149 per year for nonprofit/government employees and $197 per year for private practice clinicians. There is no contract to renew year after year, as people can cancel anytime without penalty.
The Annual Recurring Discount Fee covers your Hive Plus Program for one year from the date of the purchase. Your Hive Plus Program will be renewed annually unless you choose to cancel. You will receive an email reminder before your Hive Plus Annual Program will be renewed.

14 Day Free Trial for the Annual Fee Hive Plus Program
In order to give you a chance to review the materials available with the Hive Plus Annual Program, a 14 day free trial is available for those who sign up for the Hive Plus Annual Program at the 2-day training event or within 90-days (?) of purchasing the on-demand course. You may cancel your recurring payment within the next 14 days for any reason and you will not be charged the Annual Fee. Otherwise, your credit card will be charged 14 days after you register. You will receive a reminder email 5 days before you are charged. No refunds are made available after your Hive Annual Program purchase is complete.
Facebook Group
In addition to the materials made available to Hive Plus customers on our portal website, you will be granted access to the Hive Plus Facebook Group. aSince this is a public forum, we ask that you maintain public decency and decorum with your participation. Do not share confidential information of any kind. Do not use this group as a place to air your grievances with Scaling Up, its owners or affiliates. Be advised that we may use testimonials, discussion topics and themes, and other group participation content you provide and contribute to in this group for our own educational and/or marketing purposes. If we feel that you have violated this code of conduct at any time, we have the right to terminate your access to the Hive Program. We do not assume liability for the content provided by other members of the Facebook Group.
No Guaranty
We do not guarantee that the Hive Program or the Hive Plus Program, any of the materials provided therewith, or participation in the Facebook Group, will provide any personal or professional success. You assume sole liability and all risk involved in utilizing any of the techniques, ideas or therapies covered in the materials provided.
Continuing Education Credit
The Hive Program, through Scaling Up, offers 1-1.5 CEs for Psychologists through the American Psychological Association (APA) and NBCC clock hours per course starting in 2022. It is the responsibility of the therapist to check with their licensure board for CE eligibility.
National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC): Scaling Up, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7065. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Scaling Up, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
American Psychological Association (APA): Scaling Up, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Scaling Up, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
