This Training can teach you an Adaptive Information Processing (AIP)-informed psychophysiological algorithmic procedure specially designed for clients that present intense or overwhelming sensory input, body sensations, or emotions through the ASSYST procedures. It can also teach you the EMDR-PRECI and the EMDR-IGTP-OTS.
During the Training you will observe a stabilization procedure that is designed to stimulate the receiving person which may also stimulate observers. The stabilization procedure used in this Training hasn’t been sufficiently tested to identify all potential side effects or negative reactions that may result from its use or observation of its use. If you are at all concerned about such side effects or reactions you should consult your own physician or therapist to determine if this Training would be appropriate for you.
Acute Stress Syndrome Stabilization Remote (ASSYST-R) Procedure On Demand Training (“Training”)
This Training can teach you an Adaptive Information Processing (AIP)-informed psychophysiological algorithmic procedure specially designed for clients that present intense or overwhelming sensory input, body sensations, or emotions that can be used online/remotely for clients who cannot receive assistance otherwise.
During the Training you will observe a stabilization procedure that is designed to stimulate the receiving person which may also stimulate observers. The stabilization procedure used in this Training hasn’t been sufficiently tested to identify all potential side effects or negative reactions that may result from its use or observation of its use. If you are at all concerned about such side effects or reactions you should consult your own physician or therapist to determine if this Training would be appropriate for you.
Virtual EMDR Basic Training Parts I and II (“Training”)
his Training includes Part I (3-days) and Part II (4-days), each of which are online live training sessions and practicums, as well as 10 hours of consultation on EMDR Therapy, and reading an EMDR Therapy book by Francine Shapiro. This EMDR training is EMDRIA-Approved.
During the Training you may feel activated by client stories or when considering one’s own traumatic experiences. If you are at all concerned about such side effects or reactions you should consult your own physician or therapist to determine if this Training would be appropriate for you.
EMDR-IGTO-OTS-Remote On-Demand Training (“Training”)
During the Training you will observe a stabilization procedure that is designed to stimulate the receiving person which may also stimulate observers. If you are at all concerned about such side effects or reactions you should consult your own physician or therapist to determine if this Training would be appropriate for you.
EMDR Therapy Refresher Course (“Training”)
During the Training you may feel activated by client stories or traumatic experiences. If you are at all concerned about such side effects or reactions you should consult your own physician or therapist to determine if this Training would be appropriate for you.
EMDR for children with developmental trauma and dissociation (“Training”)
During the Training you may feel activated by client stories or when considering one’s own childhood traumas. If you are at all concerned about such side effects or reactions you should consult your own physician or therapist to determine if this Training would be appropriate for you.
In consideration of your attendance at the Training, you hereby agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company putting on the Training (Scaling Up, LLC), its owners hired trainers, and your fellow attendees at the Training, from any and all liability occurring during your attendance at the Training. In particular, you acknowledge that you will not hold the Company liable for any expenses, bodily, mental or personal injuries that you sustain as a result of your attendance at or participation in the Training. Furthermore, you acknowledge that you are aware of and understand that your attendance and/or participation in the Training entails certain anticipated and unanticipated risks, and you assume all risks associated therewith as your responsibility.
The terms and conditions of this Participant Waiver shall be legally binding upon the undersigned and their respective estate, representatives and assigns. I hereby acknowledge my voluntary and informed assumption of full responsibility and liability regarding any injuries that I may incur coincident to my participation in this Training. I hereby assume any and all risks associated with the Training and expressly waive, release, discharge and hold harmless Scaling Up, LLC, its owners, hired trainers, and my fellow attendees, from and against any and all expenses, property damage, and/or injuries sustained that arise out of, in association with, or related in any way to my participation in this Training.

All people trained by Scaling Up or providing services through a contract with Scaling Up are legally liable and responsible for their actions and services provided under their own individual and business malpractice and professional liability insurance. Scaling Up will not be held responsible for the services provided and actions of individuals.
Cancellation Policy for In-Person Trainings
Cancellation requests for Training must be received in writing by emailing info@scalingupemdr.com or postmarked by 21 days out from meeting. A cancellation fee of $100.00 (or full registration amount, whichever is less) will be deducted from the refund. In lieu of a refund, you may also request a voucher for participation in a future meeting taking place within 12 months.
Registrants wishing to cancel may instead transfer their registration to someone else without penalty if they send a written request with the replacement person’s name by 5 days before meeting start date.
Cancellations received after date of event will be issued a voucher for participation in a future meeting. If you do not cancel in advance, no refunds will be issued once the event has concluded, regardless of whether you participated in the event.
Cancellations for hotel and transportation reservations must be handled by the individual registrant directly with the hotel, airline, and/or other company. Credit vouchers may be offered should program be suspended or shortened due to conditions or circumstances beyond Scaling Up’s control, including but not limited to weather, interruptions in internet services, power outages and any cancellations/modifications related to the COVID-19 epidemic.
Force Majeure
If Scaling Up LLC is prevented from carrying out its obligations as it pertains to the Training you registered for as a result of any cause beyond its control, or such Conference cannot be held or does not occur due to acts of God, strikes, labor disputes, government requisitions, restrictions or regulations on travel, hotel or facility availability, commodities or supplies, war or apparent act of war, terrorism, disaster, civil disorder, epidemic or pandemic, curtailment or restriction on transportation facilities, or any other comparable calamity, casualty or condition (collectively a “Force Majeure”) Scaling Up LLC will refund the cost of registration. However, Scaling Up LLC does not assume responsibility for any additional costs, charges, or expenses; to include, charges made for travel and lodging. Refunds will be processed within 60 days of notification.
If the Training is postponed due to a Force Majeure occurrence before the first day of the Conference, then Scaling Up LLC will reschedule the affected Training, if and as practical under the circumstances, and your registration fee will be applied to the rescheduled Training. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled conference, then you may transfer the registration fee you paid, upon written notification toScaling Up LLC management, towards another Scaling Up LLC Training, which is scheduled to held within 18 months from the date of the affected Training. Scaling Up LLC reserves the right, at its discretion, to approve or deny such registration fee transfer requests. If there is a difference in the registration fees between the affected Training and the alternative Training, the difference in the registration fees will be charged or refunded, as applicable, on the credit, you used to register for the affected Training.
Health and Safety
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the focus at Scaling Up LLC has been the health and safety of our customers, staff, and communities. Vaccinations have reduced many of the COVID-19 guidelines/mandates regarding face masks, social distancing, and travel. In many states and cities, guidelines/mandates have been completely eliminated.
As Scaling Up LLC moves forward with producing live meetings and conferences, we will continue to monitor the continually evolving guidance released by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as all federal, state, and local government mandates, to provide an environment that is as safe as possible for all event participants.
Until further notice, Scaling Up LLC will require all Training participants to be fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine. If a participant wants to attend live, but is not fully vaccinated before the live Training, then we ask that you refrain from attend in-person, and rather attend through live streaming online (when available) or through our on demand Training.
By participating in person, I agree to follow the meeting’s health and safety policies as mandated by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the federal, state, and local government.
