Alestin Ajlouny

Alestin Ajlouny is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, Certified EMDR Therapist, and Licensed Mental Health Professional serving clients and clinicians throughout Nebraska. As an EMDR Consultant in Nebraska, Alestin provides EMDR consultation, psychotherapy, and professional guidance to therapists seeking confidence and competence in EMDR practice. Consultation is offered online, so clinicians anywhere pursuing EMDRIA certification are welcome to work with her, regardless of location.

Licensed since 2012 and trained in EMDR therapy in 2015, Alestin has extensive experience helping adults and adolescents navigate trauma, relationship challenges, self-compassion difficulties, and life transitions. She specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including those who may not initially recognize the impact their experiences continue to have on their lives. Alestin has particular expertise in complex and attachment trauma, as well as experience supporting military service members, first responders, and their families.

In addition to trauma-focused treatment, Alestin has experience in substance use assessment and treatment and enjoys helping clients build greater resilience, insight, and emotional well-being. She also works with adolescents, including athletes seeking support with sports performance and mental preparation.
