Important Disclaimers BEFORE purchasing
* Please be advised: you must have documentation of completion from your EMDRIA-approved EMDR Basic Training course before you can start this EMDR Certification Program.
** The monthly charge INCLUDES the cost of the scheduled monthly consultation groups and the on demand EMDR Refresher Course, but NOT the 10 individual consultation hours consultation hours.
*** When registering for the cohort, you will be charged an initial NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. Then, once your cohort begins you will be charged the remaining monthly cost for the following nine months.
Cancellation & Transfer Policy
The On Demand Course is nonrefundable.
For the cohort course monthly cost: Because this cohort is so time intensive, we do appreciate when participants can plan and refrain from cancelling or transferring at the last minute or during the cohort. The closer to the cohort beginning, the more difficult it is to fill your spot. Additionally, due to the importance of emotional safety and cohesion of each training cohort, we strongly encourage you to try to stay within the cohort dates you originally attend, when possible, and to protect the dates on your calendar.
Cancellation Policy: The initial deposit is nonrefundable. Once you start your monthly cohort, any monthly payment made is nonrefundable.
Transfer Policy: In this case, all the money paid thus far is non-refundable. If you want to join a new cohort, you will need to start from the beginning and pay the full fee from the beginning of the cohort, even if you don’t need all the hours. We do this for the emotional safety and continuity of the cohort, as we cannot have people leaving and coming in the middle of the cohort process.
If you miss a consultation group: If you miss a consultation group in the middle of your cohort, you will need to make it up in your own time outside of the cohort. You will forfeit your payment that month. When you make up your group, you will need to pay that group consultant directly whatever their group fee is.

Do-it-Yourself Process
Continuing Education (CE) Credits are not available for the Do-it-Yourself option of this program.
Cohort-Based Process
Continuing Education (CE) Credits are not available for the cohorts-based option of this program. However, Scaling Up offers EMDRIA CEUs and licensure renewal CEs for EMDR Refresher Course and the two mini courses included in the cohorts-based option of the Certification Program.
EMDR Refresher Course:
EMDRIA CEU’S
This training provides 10 CEUs for the on-demand training. These CEU’s will be provided by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). It is necessary to participate in 100% of the training to receive the credits of Continuing Education. A certificate for these CEU’s is included in the price of the training. Only participants who have completed an EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Basic Training are eligible for the EMDRIA credits.
CONTINUING EDUCATION (CE) CREDITS
Continuing Education (CE) credits are offered and included in the price of the training. Licensure CEs are included in the price. It is the responsibility of the therapist to check with their licensure board for CE eligibility. See number of CE credits for each type below:
National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC): Scaling Up, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7065. NBCC provides 10 CEs for the on-demand training. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Scaling Up, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
American Psychological Association (APA): Scaling Up, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Psychologists receive 10 CEs for the on demand training. Scaling Up, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB): Scaling Up (provider number 1834), is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provisional regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Scaling Up maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing the on-demand course receive 10 asynchronous continuing education credits.
Two Mini Courses:
EMDRIA CEU’S
This training provides 1 CEUs for each of the on-demand mini courses. These CEU’s will be provided by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). It is necessary to participate in 100% of the trainings to receive the credits of Continuing Education. A certificate for these CEU’s is included in the price of the training. Only participants who have completed an EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Basic Training are eligible for the EMDRIA credits.
CONTINUING EDUCATION (CE) CREDITS
Scaling Up offers a total of 1 National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) clock hours for each mini course. It is the responsibility of the therapist to check with their licensure board for CE eligibility. This training is NOT eligible for APA or ASWB CEs.
