Emi Olmeztoprak

EMDRIA-APPROVED CONSULTANT

Emi Olmeztoprak is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, Certified EMDR Therapist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) based in Las Vegas, Nevada. As an EMDR Consultant in Las Vegas, Emi provides individual and group consultation for therapists seeking EMDR certification, bringing a collaborative, mentor-driven approach tailored to the unique needs of each consultee.

Emi holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and has been practicing since 2012 through Vegas Valley Comprehensive Counseling, the group practice she founded in Las Vegas. Prior to entering full-time private practice, she worked in community mental health and substance use treatment agencies across all levels of care, gaining broad clinical experience that continues to inform her work today. She completed EMDR Basic Training in 2019, became EMDR Certified in 2021, and earned her EMDRIA Approved Consultant designation in 2024. She is also a Brainspotting Certified therapist, an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, an LCADC Supervisor in Nevada, and a certified yoga instructor (YTT-200) — reflecting her commitment to somatic, whole-person healing.

Her clinical specialties include complex trauma and PTSD, addictions and substance use, anxiety and panic, chronic pain, medical trauma, and sexual trauma. Emi is deeply committed to affirming care for LGBTQIA+ clients and neurodivergent individuals, and also has extensive experience working with first responders, military personnel, veterans, and individuals impacted by incarceration. Her approach is person-centered and integrative, drawing on EMDR, Brainspotting, motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques, and CBT to meet each client where they are.

As an EMDR Consultant in Las Vegas, Emi brings that same flexible, personalized approach to her consultation work — favoring a conversational, mentor-style relationship that helps clinicians expand their EMDR skills with confidence. She is especially passionate about supporting therapists during the hands-on practicum phase, helping them experience EMDR’s effectiveness from both sides of the room.
