Jeremy Fox

EMDRIA-APPROVED CONSULTANT

Jeremy Fox is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, Certified EMDR Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) based in Georgia. As an EMDR Consultant in Georgia, Jeremy provides individual and group EMDR consultation for therapists pursuing certification, approved consultant status, and deeper clinical competence in the EMDR model.

Jeremy has been practicing EMDR since 2014, having first developed his interest in the modality while working in community mental health. He was mentored by Dr. Arielle Schwartz and received his EMDRIA Approved Consultant designation in 2019. He holds a Master of Arts in Mental Health Therapy from Colorado Christian University and is licensed in both Georgia and Colorado.

A published academic author, Jeremy’s article “Recovery, Interrupted: The Zeigarnik Effect in EMDR Therapy and the Adaptive Information Processing Model” appeared in the September 2020 issue of the Journal of EMDR Practice and Research. He has also facilitated multiple presentations on the use of EMDR in treating dissociation, flashbacks, and post-traumatic stress.

Jeremy specializes in complex PTSD, dissociation, ego states, moral injury, men’s issues, behavioral addictions, spiritual trauma and church hurt, and somatic interweaves. He is particularly passionate about supporting first responders, veterans, and intimate violence survivors, and is also a practitioner and advocate of tabletop gaming therapy. His clinical approach draws on EMDR, DBT, and ACT principles.

As an EMDR Consultant in Georgia, Jeremy believes strong consultation gives clinicians a rich foundation in the Adaptive Information Processing model and case conceptualization — empowering them to confidently navigate complex presentations and develop their own authentic EMDR identity.
