Lily Anderson is an EMDR Consultant, EMDR Facilitator, Certified EMDR Therapist, and Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients and clinicians throughout Illinois, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. As an international EMDR Consultant and Co-Consultant for the Central Illinois EMDR Chapter Meetings, Lily provides EMDR consultation, psychotherapy, and professional support for therapists seeking to deepen their EMDR skills and confidence.

Lily earned her Master of Social Work from Illinois State University and has extensive experience across community mental health, private practice, and child welfare settings. Her background includes working with foster care families through Child Protective Services, giving her a strong understanding of developmental trauma, attachment challenges, and family systems.

As an EMDR Consultant serving Illinois and beyond, Lily specializes in the treatment of complex trauma, PTSD, dissociation, anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, and medical trauma. She is also experienced and passionate about the utilization of EMDR with children, adolescents, and Portuguese-speaking clients. Her approach emphasizes creating safety, fostering resilience, and helping clients process difficult experiences so they can move toward lasting healing.

As an International EMDR Consultant, Lily enjoys helping EMDR therapists strengthen case conceptualization, navigate complex clinical presentations, and build confidence in applying EMDR therapy with diverse populations across the globe. She is committed to providing a supportive and collaborative learning environment that encourages both professional growth and clinical excellence.
