Veronica San Juan
EMDRIA-APPROVED CONSULTANT
Veronica San Juan is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, Certified EMDR Therapist, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Riverside, California. As an EMDR Consultant in Southern California, Veronica is the founder of Rejoice Holistic Counseling Center — a trauma-informed, culturally attuned practice dedicated to integrating mind, body, and spirit in the healing process. She holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from Brandman University (now University of Massachusetts Global) and has been practicing since 2010.
Veronica’s career has been rooted in serving diverse and underserved communities across Southern California. She has worked across outpatient recovery centers, transitional age youth programs, and community-based mental health services, and has extensive experience developing individualized treatment plans, managing interdisciplinary teams, and partnering with hospitals, schools, and county agencies to expand access to quality mental health care. As a former Senior Clinical Therapist and Program Coordinator, she has supervised and mentored graduate students from Loma Linda University, Azusa Pacific University, and Cal State San Bernardino.
She is fluent in Spanish and deeply committed to providing culturally responsive care, bringing both lived understanding and clinical expertise to her work with Latinx communities, families navigating dual diagnoses, and individuals working through bereavement, anger, relational conflict, and complex trauma. Her holistic approach honors the whole person — drawing on family systems therapy, trauma-focused care, and EMDR to help clients reshape negative core beliefs and reclaim their lives.
As an EMDR Consultant in Southern California, Veronica offers individual and group consultation with a warm, insight-driven mentorship style. She is passionate about holding space for new clinicians to build confidence, embrace curiosity, and step fully into trauma-informed EMDR practice.
